A little bit of a summary here about what the initial assignment was and the requirements for the finished product, along with a brief description of the purpose of the assignment.
This text will be about how I solved the design problem and a little bit of my process. It will also include some insights, and experiences I had will working through the solution.
Switching majors as a senior in college is always fun, but this situation has actually turned to be a nice trade off. Originally my heart was set on being a graphic designer. I thoroughly enjoyed the graphic design courses as well as the core art classes that were built into the curriculum. Yet I felt there was something still missing. Then I dicovered hand coding.
Currently I am working towards a BA in CIT with an emphasis in Web Development. As I have yet to create any professional pieces as a developer, my portfolio currently consists of my past work from graphic design. I have to admit that half of my heart is still in the design field, but personally I feel it will be a strength as I integrate the two fields into my new career.
